Finding Flow in Nature...

...and Sharing It With The World

For as long as I remember I have made the connection between our relationship in nature and our duty to protect it. Since the 80’s, talk has been of our need to push back against the industries that are causing environmental degradation and biodiversity loss.

Now, more than ever, we are faced with a daunting task to bring heavy polluters into control and motivate others to care enough to be a united force. Momentum is there, but more effort is needed.

Aligning my values and efforts with the energy behind Protect Our Winters will give my passions a vehicle to ignite positive change for our planet. As someone who spends every opportunity in the mountains and ocean, sharing my skills in media to fight for the most important cause of our time is a calling I will pursue with diligence and vigor.

From Seniors To Seniors: Advice Between Generations

This video was a special project I completed for Meridian Senior Living to showcase some of their residents. It was nothing flashy, just a static camera position and a few dozen interviewees sharing their perspective on life and what it means to live a great life. No flasy effects, no crazy camera movement, just a

Outside Magazine Contributers Stage a Mutiny On The Publisher

We need more integrity in publishing. Recently, 34 regular contributors to Outside Magazine did their part to show that it’s out there. Why I Quit A “Dream Job” Doing Gear Reviews

On paper, it sounded so great. I get to review outdoor gear for a living. Public relations and marketing agencies would send me gear to try out and would report back on it. The 20-year-old me couldn’t believe it. How can people actually get paid at this stuff? Well, we have the world of affiliate

A Film About Fairy Creek: To Keep our Home

The Fairy Creek Blockades were the largest act of civil disobedience in Canadian History. This is the stat that often comes up, and it relates to how many people were arrested to stand in the way of industry and police to protect and preserve the old growth forests on Vancouver Island, in Pacheedat territory. I

Creating content is a broad term, and has been watered down in recent years due to oversaturation. Every brand and agency now has someone developing content, but how many truly know how to tell a story that can grip a person’s heart? It’s only by truly knowing the audience you’re speaking to that you can reach them effectively.
