This spot for Canadian Wilderness Adventures was a classic one-day quick-rip without planning, but we just rolled with what we got. The budget was less than $1000, so we didn’t exactly have much to work with.
Still, all things considered, I feel like it did a great job showcasing the beauty of the Whistler region and a few good reasons why it’s good to go on a tour with Canadian Wilderness Adventures. We were in and out in a matter of hours, and put the edit together later that night.
People often regard being able to work with a big budget as a flex, but in my opinion, it is often the small-budget projects that look like it had a bigger budget that is a greater showcase of talent. Tourism videos can be hit or miss, and the costs can climb really quickly. Here’s an example of how to be lean and nimble, and still put out a good product.
No brief, no expectations, other than to showcase the ebike tours. Total trust. Not a lot of money. A good sidekick and some friends as models. That’s how to get it done at a low cost.
