Production · Location Sound · Story — BC Coast & Mountains

The resourcefulness of a producer.
The risk awareness of a mountain guide.

You’re sending a crew into terrain they don’t know; weather that turns in an hour, tides, exposure, roads that end where the work begins. I’m the local call you will be glad you made.

I have 16 years in production, 19 in mountain safety, 22 living in the corridor you’re about to shoot in. I find the shot, solve the problem on the ground, and read the risk before it becomes one.

And the reason it matters: the more digital the world becomes, the more audiences hunger for something real. The real comes with weather, water, and exposed terrain; and the people chasing it deserve to come home safe. The result is media rooted in an honest connection to this place, memorable because it documents real life, not staging for engagement.

For visiting productions

On the Ground

Your creative shouldn’t change because your crew doesn’t know the terrain. I’m the local call: the person who knows where the light lands, where the access is, and what the weather is about to do before it does it.

And your production gets more than support; it gets a working safety professional embedded in the crew. I have 19 years in avalanche safety and an advanced first aid ticket held current since 2007. That’s a shorter risk assessment and an easier conversation with your insurer.

From the Inside

Some stories are best told by the people who also live the lifestyle portrayed on screen. Using imagery, words, sound, and the skills to get to wild places, I can help bring a voice that comes from actual lived experience, providing the why and how behind the what.
